Poetry by John Colburn

October 1, 2013 6 x 9 182 pages 978-1-56689-335-0

An exploration of folklore, visionary states, surrealism, hybrid forms, and the political implications of their confluence.

Psychedelic Norway takes form as site of play and a place for the rupture of expectations. Sentence, folktale, confession, pop quizall allow for the chaotic impulse behind the imagination, defying the tyranny of orthodoxies with a visionary midwestern populism that argues for enchantment as the moral imperative of our time.
